Unlike competitor pumps, whose seals often leak due to product build-up when processing sticky or tacky substances, the Ampco LF seal addresses this issue by eliminating the traditional O-ring groove and dead zone. This innovative design incorporates a semi-exposed O-ring, allowing the product to flow smoothly through previously restricted areas, preventing any build-up.
The LF seal design also simplifies assembly. A standout feature of the Ampco LF is that the rotating seal remains securely in the driver during assembly.
With balanced impellers, a self-aligning shaft, and precise manufacturing tolerances, the LF minimizes vibration and extends seal life, making it the go-to choice for handling challenging products.
